Well here is my first blog of the new year.  Lets just hope that we can start moving forward on some real change in the housing industry starting with home sales.  I have noticed a real increase in the number of internet inquiries, phone calls and requested showings.  From a $22,000 property all the way up to activity on a $700,000 plus listing; it is looking better than a month ago.

In December, we closed 4 sales on our team and had a better December than in 2007.  Our sales came in around November and closed within 30 to 45 days.  I have one scheduled closing for a property in Oakley, Ohio a suburb of Cincinnati Ohio and close to the popular Hyde Park for the end of January.  The closing I have scheduled for February is for a listing in Goshen Ohio, in Clermont County.  We also have 2 commercial deals under contract that will close this spring. 

All in all I am optimistic and excited to see what 2009 has in store.
