Dance the night away and usher in spring at the First Federal's Starlight Pops Concert with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra on May 5th at Boone Hall Plantation! Gates open at 5 pm. Children & family activities begin at 5:15 pm, picnic judging at 7 pm and the concert at 7:30 pm to be followed by a brilliant fireworks display!
Be sure to participate in the Picnic Contest - local celebrity judges will be on hand to choose the Most Creative, Fanciest & the Picnic I Would Most Like to Be Invited To. The winners will receive season tickets to the Charleston Symphony Orchestra! Or leave the picnic planning to Carolina Catersand pre-order a picnic basket that will feed up to four. This year's event is designed for you and your family! Arrive early at Boone Hall and enjoy pre-concert performances from area elementary schools as well as tours of the house and grounds and the butterfly pavilion. There will be face painting, a jump castle and an instrument "petting zoo" just for the kids!
