Wow, home buying 101.

Seems so simple but it's often a long journey between steps 1 and 4.

Hi Gena, One of past clients with a credit score of over 800 is seeking a loan. He reports that the hoops and the qualifiers are making him re-think his wanting to move forward.  As Jim Lee noted, the the journy between steps 1 and 4 is often riddled with a lot of anxiety and difficulty.

Gena if I was looking for a home in the Sacramento area you would be the hands down choice. There is nobody that covers the area like you. The fact that you have seen it all is a major benefit to your clients as well.

Jim, when steps 1 and 2 are completed, the others just fall right in line.

Russell, how true. Why change what works beautifully and efficiently?

William, depends upon who is doing the loan and who the Realtor is, I guess. As long as folks have good credit, it hasn't presented itself to be a problem...so far.

Hi Gena,

Excellent info home buyers in Sacramento or anywhere else. I totally agree with you about the pre-approval process for anyone. Seems to me like it's also a way for buyers to resolve issues in advance, sometime some fine-tuning for a pre-approval.

Lynda, I totally agree. Without a pre-approval home buyers are simply cooking a recipe before finding out the ingredients and going shopping for the supplies.  Just doesn't make sense.
