What's a Netbook Computer, Why Buy a Netbook, & Where To Buy Netbooks

Buy a Cheap Netbook, They are Affordable Computers

Whether you are a business person, student, REALTOR, computer geek, or just need a reliable portable computer, a netbook computer may be the right choice for you. Netbooks are small, affordable computers that perform well for most needs. Netbooks weigh around  two pounds and have screen sizes ranging from 7-10" wide. The processors are less powerful  than full-sized laptops, but netbooks perform well enough for most uses. Netbooks are ultra-portable, so it's easy to toss one in your bag and go! I enjoy using an Acer Aspire One netbook that I picked up online for about $349.

Cheap Netbook Computers, also known as nettops, are not just “mini-laptops.” In fact, they serve a different market than laptop users and act as a smaller, more portable, more convenient means of carrying around files and information and accessing the Internet. These sub-notebooks are prepped and primed for Internet access, making them more portal than powerhouse tool. While a laptop is basically a complete portable computer, netbooks are the streamlined version for those that don’t need to carry the world all their important files with them–just the essentials.

Rather than lay out more money than you need to for an over-weight laptop which is overpowered for your basic needs, why not consider an AFFORDABLE NETBOOK, from a reputable netbook dealer, at the lowest prices, anywhere. Netbooks are usually cheaper online, you pay no tax, and can get free shipping.

I'm shopping for minis now. Do you have any recommendations?  I want to have enough RAM and storage to be able to display slide shows at open houses and networking events. Thanks for any help you can provide. Wendy

Hello Short Sale Goddess!

You might spend about $350, which is the average price for a netbook. I will recommend the Acer Aspire One AOD150-1165 10.1-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home, 6 Cell Battery) Sapphire Blue selling for less at http://www.amazon.com The six-cell battery will last nearly six hours, so you can take it to networking and open houses with no problem.
Netbooks look like minilaptops and generally range from 7-10" in size, but there is not an exact size of power specification for netbooks. Right now, a netbook could be defined as low-priced, under-powered subnotebook with no optical cd drive. 1 gig of ram should do it for you.

The blue cover is gorgeous and will look very professional. Easy to load up with slideshows, toss in your bag and go.

Thanks Chris. I'm looking into getting a netbook and wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not.
