Freecycle is a wonderful way to keep "stuff" out of landfills while passing the item along to someone who needs it.

We all have items in our garage, attic, shed or garage that we are just going to throw away. If you join Freecycle http://www.freecycle.org/ you will be able to post the items that you need to get rid of and low and behold someone will contact you to take that item off your hands.

You can also post a "wanted" if there is something that you need, can't find and maybe someone in the group has one that they are going to pitch. Their motto is "Changing the World One Gift At A Time".

Check it out, I have given many items and find everyone is most grateful to get something that they really need. Check out the link and see if you have a freecycle group in your area.

I LOVE freecycle.  We used it when we bought our first investment property to get rid of all kinds of stuff.  So easy, fun and the people appreciated our CRAP.
