Community Care Millburn New Jersey

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Premier Properties

As a real estate agent in the township of Millburn/Short Hills, I know that property here is very popular for new home owners for a variety of reasons. In addition to an unbeatable education, residents of the township of Millburn/Short Hills provide a uniquely caring and attentive community for new and current home owners alike. Not only does the community care about each other, but they care about important causes that impact everyone, and take active steps to improve the world around them as well as the community in which they reside.

Residents use all of the resources at their disposal to help heal the world. In this fashion, the Weisman brothers are using their massaging skills to help in the fight against cancer. Bob and Jeff Weisman, both Millburn High School Graduates, went directly from Millburn High School to the New Jersey franchise of Massage Envy, which is a chain of massage therapy clinics. On September 22, 2008, a few weeks before the beginning of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, all 19 of the Massage Envy clinics gave free massages, and asked all their visitors to make a donation to the Susan G. Komen foundation in lieu of payment. The Susan G. Komen Foundation is a national foundation that supports research for a cure for breast cancer. The Massage Envy Clinics raised a stunning $65,000, far exceeding their $50,000 goal.

New home owners are eager to reside in a community that is selfless enough to promote events such as the Massage Day for Breast Cancer research.
