I received an offer on one of my listings today, and called the couple to find out when I could have them sign.  Turns out, they were in the hospital.  They had just welcomed their third child into the world yesterday (January 20th). 

What a cool day to be born?  The day that our first African-American President took office.  Now that is a question on history tests that this young man will never get wrong.

The clients encouraged me to meet them at the hospital during visiting hours for signatures, which I happily did.  And while I was there, it really struck me how commonplace this historic election will be to future generations like this little guy.  They will never have known a lack of diversity at the highest office in our Country. 

Who knows, maybe before he's out of elementary school, we'll have elected our first female President.
