Buyers, Don't Hesitate...!

By
Real Estate Agent with St. Charles County, Missouri - Prudential Alliance Realtors

I know that this is a buyer's market...and I know that there are a lot of homes out there to look at...but I have to warn you that if you find something you like, make an offer on it before it's gone.

It's a new year, rates are low, and homes are at great prices.  You aren't the only one that realizes this.  I recently had a buyer miss out on the home he was truly interested in because he waited.

One of my listings just got an accepted contract...Another agent called  to schedule a showing...oops!  too late!

I'm thinking that our buyer's market may be changing...so, buyers....Don't Hesitate!   :)

Debi,

I just had the same thing happen this last weekend.  I blogged about it also.  He was supposed to come and sign Thursday and instead he was not in a hurry and waited until Monday afternoon.  I went to check the listing as soon as he came to sign and You guessed it! It was already under contract.

Larry - Mine just happened today.  (I commented on your post the other day...) It's kind of good that it happened, because I think it will teach him the importance of taking action...at least, I hope so!  :)

Debbie,

You are so right our inventory is starting to move and some prices are starting to go up slowly.

It's true! I have a buyer who identified 11 properties she'd like to see. Her schedule became hectic- so viewing was put off for a week. Five of the homes are now in contract... it happens especially with the low-end priced homes. It's quite a shock- this wouldn't have happened a few months ago. The prices are so low and the interest rates are very good right now.

It is a great time to find a deal on a house.  I'm happy to hear all the positive comments.
