Wanted to Share my town with you.

TUPELO MISSISSIPPI

This is the gate located on main street. The building in the background is our new city hall. It sits on the site of the old fairgrounds where Elvis played his homecoming concert.

Elvis Presley's Birthplace. Elvis was born in this house in 1935. This home sits in the eastern part of the state

This is a picture of our old court house. It sits in the middle of town. All the old houses in tupelo were destroyed in the Tornado of 1936.

The sign on the picture is at our busiest entersection It says Tupelo First TVA City. We were the very first city in America to receive electricity from TVA.

This is the Bancorpsouth Center. We have lots of concerts here. We also have a professional indoor arena football team call the Mississippi Mudcats. They play here

This is the new Hilton Garden Inn. It is located just across the street from the first picture of the Fairpark District

The Tupelo Buffaloe Park is a great place to spend the afternoon. You can see buffaloe roaming free and lots of other great animals.
