Chills ran up and down my arms and back... Tears followed by raucous cheers, applaus and frequent standing ovations. The community gathered in support as we watched on large projection screens, as history was made. This day will stand as a historical reference point for the remainder of our great nation. May we stop allowing petty differences to stand in our way of growth, development, love and support for our community.
