I just started to get BPO orders from FARVV. Can someone tell me if they also give out REO listings or are they just a BPO "mill"?

They do make you go through a course online and pass their exam.

Grace, actually I tried to sign up with them last year but they were closed to new agents in my area. I tried again later and got in. I started getting orders right away after I finished their online course.

I signed up with them last year, but have never heard anything further from them.  Let us know what you find out.

i get around 5 requests from them a day. I only take on their orders if my assistant needs works to do. She also does some on the side on the weekend under my name. Yes they are only a BPO mill. Most of their BPOs are for Countrywide and Countrywide has their own criteria for choosing their REO agents. So if you want a few extras dollars go for it but from my experience they will not get you any REOs.

I don't think FARVV gives out REO's, but I have received REO's from BPO that I have completed with them.  They come in directly from the bank or one of the REO portal sites.

Strictly a REO mill. I get about 5-10 a week and I will do a few to get some extra cash if I am not busy. I have been with them for over 5 yrs. There use to be a place to sign up for REO's but I have never received anything.

Thanks for all your feedback. They seem to be a good company to work for. I have done about 12 bpos. Their form's reasonable and they pay on time.

Kathy,

First American Residential Value View, FARVV, is strictly a vendor for BPO's though if you have registered with the individual lenders you could receive a listing.  They cut checks the 10th of every month like clockwork and are pretty good about accepting what I send them.  The biggest challenge I have is when another agent has previously completed a BPO and my value doesn't come in within 20%.  Then you need to explain any discrepancy.

They have a sister site, First American REO Servicing http://www.firstamreo.com/application.asp which provides REOlistings.  I've been with FARVV for 6 months and done about 100 BPO's but haven't received any listings from First American REO Servicing though I signed up at the same time.
