St. Louis, MO - January 11th, 2009 - In just a few years our gateway city has evolved into thinking fashion forward. Local and regional magazines are becoming increasingly fashion conscious, and with Saint Louis Fashion Week heading into yet another year, St. Louisians know a good designer when they see one. Furthermore, most people want an even better price to go along with the label.
The holidays may be over but with the help of 15 select boutiques, St. Louis-area residents are getting another chance to add some last minute panache to their closets. The Second Annual Cash & Carry Boutique Warehouse Sale is set for Friday, January 30th, 2009 from 6pm-9pm and, Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 9am-4pm. The sale will include thousands of items from the boutiques with mark downs from 50-90 percent off the retail price.
This year the sale extends a day with a VIP Friday night shopping experience, to give people a "first peek" to purchase. There is a $10 entrance fee for this access but, to boost the evening, a cocktail social has been added. Shoppers can relax by not waiting in lines; have a cocktail, and shop, all at once.
As a bonus this year, Cash & Carry will feature more men's and children's designer clothing. The sale will also highlight more women's designer lines including: 7For All Mankind, Joe's, Lilly Pulitzer, Milly, Tory Burch and Twisted Heart. There will be an unlimited amount of women's loungewear, handbags, shoes and accessories showcased.
Dana Radetic, owner of Jillybean stated, "The sale is a great opportunity to move merchandise thus, generating revenue for spring and summer merchandise that is blowing into our stores."
In order to accommodate more merchandise and the anticipation of more shoppers, the sale has moved to: 1 The Boulevard Saint Louis, Saint Louis, MO 63117. The sale will take place in an open retail space on The Boulevard next to Crate & Barrel and across from Nadoz Euro Bakery + Café. Parking can be found in the parking garage or along the streetscape. The Metro Link also has a direct stop, at The Boulevard.
