I noticed this just yesterday and you'll all be so excited!!  Anchors for long pages of text, hex# can be input for text colors instead of just choosing what's available!

For a list of hex #'s for lots and lots of colors, along with other helpful links, click here - all helpful links are down towards the bottom of the left column.

For those unfamiliar with "anchors" they're what let you steer someone within a page or to a particular spot on another page...FAQ pages need anchors!
Here's an example

Take note:  The "Design" and "HTML" tabs at the bottom of a content box are now just labeled "Source" - you always start out in design and if you want to switch back and forth, just keep clicking the "Source" tab at the top left of the content editor toolbar.

Also, it's a little different uploading and working with images and links.

A pic is below for you...

I'm learning more and more...and thanks Bob for your kind words!

Graphics...was anybody having trouble before with not being a "trusted site" and images never configuring their size automatically after upload?  Well that's all changed!!!!  Love it!  Thanks Point2!  Check it out when you get a chance - add images, link text or images to anything and see how they're different layouts now.

As I learn more, I'll add more :-)

You all have a great weekend!!!

Hi,

Yes the new content editor looks good and should work good in theory.  However I am have a lot of problems with editing old content on my site.  I have a fairly large site with around 1,500 pages of content and I have to update aprox 600 pages.  The problems I am having is that the text moves all over the pages when I go into to edit text etc.  is anyone else having this same problem?  Please email me at nevin@nevinvannest.com if yo uhave any input.  Thanks.

Nevin,

It's the "association" that's now changed in Point2 - it used to size the fonts by 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - now it's formatted by xx-small, x-small, etc...which I know you know...but that's simply it.

So it may not know how to categorize something that's either "unformatted" or...help me out here :-)

Hope that helps...it doesn't help the fact that you will need to do something if you're unhappy with the pages now.  Sorry to be the bearer of that.  It seems that the new format is more "copying in from Word" friendly than it used to be though.  But anybody jump in and correct me there.  I use a different program to bring in any text content "masses" so it remains unformatted.  So, yes, Nevin, I have to do the same thing as you, however, I'm looking about 10-15 pages of double checking, sorry :-)

...just a p.s.

If anybody's having the same problem, yet brought their text in from somewhere else and it's formatted or even typed right in Point2, I really think it's a general "association" upgrade that didn't know how to read some of the stuff out there :-)
