There a local auto dealership running an add claiming he can guarantee that he has the exact model with the exact equipment, in the exact color, etc.., for any auto buyer. Then he continues with he has over 17 acres of autos! Well I guess he does have the "exact" auto for which one would be looking.
Sorta the same thing in the current real estate market here on the Gulf, as I am sure it is elsewhere. We keep hearing that it is "a buyer's market." Where are they? If there ever was a time to buy here, it is today. We do have almost anything a buyer would want, at a price not seen since '04. A buyer can, and some have, literally make a list of property in which they are interested, make an offer, and if not accepted simply say "next."
Some buyers say that they are waiting for the bottom. Well, we all know when the bottom is here. When prices begin to increase! This may be soon, or it may be sometime later, in any case the great deals will begin to disappear at that point. If you buy now, you may see a lesser price next week, but, you will have acquired the exact property you wanted, at a great price. You will realize immediate increasein equity when the prices begin to head back up, while benefiting from rental income-should that be part of your motivation.
