Hi Everyone-I love to cook and I enjoy a wide variety of food. Here are a few of my recipes. ENJOY!

BREAKFAST SAUSAGE CASSEROLE

1 PKG.(16 oz.)bulk pork sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled          

4 c. cubed day old bread

2 c. (8 oz.)shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 cans(12 fl. oz. ea.)CARNATION Evaporated Milk

10 lg. eggs, lightly beaten

1 tsp dry mustard

1/4 tsp. onion powder

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 55 to 60 min. or until cheese is golden brown. Cover with foil if top browns too quickly.  Season with ground black pepper.

Grease 13x9 in. baking dish. Place bread in prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.

Combine evaporated milk, eggs, dry mustard & onion powder in medium bowl. Pour evenly over bread and cheese. Sprinkle with sausage. Cover. Refrigerate overnight. 

Yields 8 to 10 servings

LINGUINE, BACON & TOMATO CASSEROLE

1 pkg.(9 oz.)BUITONI refrigerated linguine prepared according to pkg. directions

1 c. diced bacon bits

1/2 c. diced green pepper

1/2 c. diced onion

1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce

1 tsp. chili powder

3/4 c. grated parmesan cheese, divided

1/4 c. shredded mozarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees  Lightly grease a 1-1/2 qt casserole dish.

Cook bacon, onion and bell pepper in a medium skillet until bacon is cooked but not crispy. Add tomato sauce and chili powder. Cook for 5 minutes

Combine pasta, tomato sauce mixture & 1/2 c. parmesan cheese. Season with salt & ground black pepper

Transfer to prepared dish: sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese and mozarella cheese.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted  Servings-4

TURTLE BROWNIE DESSERT

1 Pkg. (18.25 oz.)German chocolate cake mix

3/4 c. (1-1/2 sticks)butter or margine, melted

7 tbsp. CARNATION evaporated milk, divided

1 c. chopped pecans

1 c. (8 oz.)NESTLES TOLL HOUSE semi sweet morsels

20 NESTLES SIGNATURES TURTLE CANDIES

Combine cake mix, butter and 5 tbsp evaporated milk in lg bowl, stir until blended. Stir in nuts.

Spread half of cake mix mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.  Bake for 12 min. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 min.

Microwave morsels & remaining evaporated in small, uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for 1 min.

STIR.  Morsels may retain some of their original shape. If necessary, microwave an additional 10-15 second intervals, stirring until smooth.  Gently spread over cake layer. Place candy on cake layer, drop remaining cake mix mixture by heaping teaspoons between the candy.

Bake for 15 to 18 min. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares

Yields 20 brownies

FOR ANYONE WHO STILL NEEDS LUNCH HERE IS MY FAVORITE LUNCH

CHEF SALAD

1-1/2 c. shredded bag lettuce(or your favorite kind)

1/2 chopped tomato

1/2 chopped cucumber

1 radish(chopped)

3 baby carrots or reg size(chopped)

1 stalk celery(chopped)

1/4 c. chopped red pepper(green or yellow if you prefer)

1 chopped scallion

4 or 5 ripe pitted olives(sliced)

1/8 c. bacon bits

1/4 c. shredded mozarella cheese(or cheese of your choice)

1/4 c. ea diced ham and turkey

Top with salad dressing of your choice

SLICED COOKED EGG & SLICED MUSHROOM ARE OPTIONAL(NOT MY OPTION)

Serve with fresh italian bread(optional)

Hi Sharon, my mouth is watering just reading these three recipes particularly the sausage casserole and the brownie dessert. Either pictures of food or browsing recipes send me straight to the kitchen. It's your fault you know LOL.

Sharon, I eat dessert more often than I should as sweets are a bad habit for me. I do like topping off a "light" meal with a dessert however.

Hi Gary-Even though you have a passion for desserts, the things you do is keep things in balance and keep yourself fit by doing exercise. Balance and moderation is the key. You are fine my friend. If it's not satisfactory for you I know you'll be able to change it. <smile> I have faith in YOU.
