My business partner, Rob Powell and I are in the process of creating an exciting new real estate investing blog at www.TheRealWealthBlog.com.  This is one of the few blogs in the blog-o-sphere focusing on commercial real estate and we were recently named by The Real Estate Tomato one of the top ten commercial real estate blogs on the Net. (THANKS TOMATO!)

All this is not to toot our own horn.  Instead, we in the process of creating new content and want to answer YOUR questions.  We are currently answering any and all questions posted about real estate investing.  We've done a LOT of different types of deals - Strip Shopping Centers, Apartment Buildings, Mobile Home Parks, Raw Land, Office Space, and of course - single family homes!

If you've thought about getting involved in real estate, but have had trouble cutting through the sales-jargon that so many promoters have spinning around out there, this is your chance to find out how it really works...

  • How can you finance your investment deals?
  • How much does it cost to do your marketing?
  • Do you need a down payment?
  • Do creative strategies still work?

No question is too "Beginnerish!"

Hope we can help... please pop over and just comment on any post with your question, or email us!

To your success!

Emily, great idea. I just bookmarked your post and your blog. Great idea in this down market. It is a great time for investors now. I think many investors will appreciate your blog.

Thanks Huiting.  I think this is a great time to be buying property in many markets. Real estate agents are concerned that there aren't many buyers out there now.  We have to be aggressive in making sure listing prices are at the market level and not too high.

Correctly priced properties can and do sell, whether to investors or residents.

Emily ... thanks for this post and encouragement that homes and properties that are correctly priced, in a good location, and in good condition, will sell quickly even in this challenging market.

Best wishes. Harrison

My girlfriend lives in Renton. She has a really nice house and is interested in selling. But in this economy she is so affraid of losing money. Do you know of any good agents in her area? I think at one point she had around 200,000 in equity. She knows she won't get anywhere near that, but don't want to lose anything either.

Thanks

Doug
