Atlanta home inspector's wife is not sure which way to go As an Atlanta home inspector's wife I am constantly looking for different ways to use all the new social marketing tools from Twitter, to Facebook to Activerain, to Diigo, Stumble, and Google.  I have started using several different ones, but now it seems like all my time is taken up going from this one to that one checking this status to that status and trying to keep up with my new found friends.  There has got to be an easier way. Feeling a little dazed and confused, not a problem, just hang on and I'm sure we'll figure this out.

I know that I am not the only one using these different social marketing tools and using them successfully, but how do you maintain it?  Where do you go first? Which ones have you found to be the most valuable?  And how do you stay in touch with those you really want to stay in touch with?  I know there are some experts out there? Hopefully I can get some great advice.  Having a great day? Me too!

I am pretty much in the same boat---- I have put links on Active Rain to Twitter, Face Book, Linked In and that helps.

Liz, I think that is a great idea and I noticed a friend of mine, Michael  puts his links in each blog.  I have to figure out how to do that easier.

Bonnie,

I am relatively new to Active Rain but I know a few real estate agents who have been on here for quite a while.  They get a lot of e-mails and phone calls just from their blogs.  I also find that Craigslist is a great place to advertise for the Atlanta market.  You can market under the Real Estate Services section.  This works quite a bit.  I am focusing on AR and Craigslist and I use the other sites when I have the "extra" time...so basically like once or twice a month.  I don't have the time to update them weekly!

Advertising by using varies links really helps your web site rankings.  Since using Active Rain links, my buyers leads on Google,Yahoo and MSN have really gone up.  Would be nice is a techkie would write a simple article on what to do and not do to get the search engines to view you web site.

Bonnie - I am in the same boat as you.  I haven't mastered what to focus on, how to manage the sites, and how to get leads from them.  Hopefully we will figure things out as we go.

I've tried the biggie sites but haven't found them to my liking for various reasons. Consequently, all I do right now is Play in the Rain, persistently and consistently, each and every day. It's amazing what being persistent and consistent can accomplish, regardless of where you are.

Hello - Did you ever find an easier way to manage all of your marketing?  I would like to start using more of the social marketing sites but don't know which ones will give me the biggest bank for my bucks (and time).  Would love to hear if you've found the right mix.
