Maggie Valley’s local mountain folk hero, [Moonshine] Marvin “Popcorn” Sutton, author of Me and My Likker, is scheduled for sentencing Monday in Greeneville, TN after pleading guilty to, among other things, charges of illegal production of distilled spirits.  (See article on link below.) Dang, why did that still blow up??

You know, it sounds like he's kinda broken the law. So, perhaps he should have to "pay the judge."

But then again, how cool is this? I didn't even think there was still moonshine around? Never tasted it, never will. (Me and straight liquor = BIG trouble!

Maybe they outta just let him go back to his place and enjoy his remaining life. It sounds from the article that his time on Earth my be limited.

Absolute worst hangover I ever had in my life was after 'dancing in the moonshine' with some friends.  I felt like a truck had hit me for a week!  Was he selling it or just making it for personal consumption?
