Sertino's Cafe, located on the southwest corner of Tanque Verde and Bear Canyon Road on Tucson's northeast side!
If you live on this side of town - you've seen it - you've wondered about - and you've probably thought, "I should try it out."
I've heard that Sertino's coffee beats the taste of any Starbucks drink -- and that their sandwiches should be soon rated #1 in Tucson for "yummy-factor" and quality -- and that their strongest competitor across the street - LeBuzz Cafe should be on alert for overall variety -- I quickly thought, "OH YEAH!".
Here's the bottom line:
It was the best White Chocolate Mocha I've had in a long, long time - and the small size I ordered was as big as a medium at "other places".
The food: quality, taste, and proportions - worth the money.
There is an ice-cream bar right on site! The sign on display read, "If your not drooling, check your pulse."
An on-site seperate meeting/conference seats at least 25-30 people - it's free -- just need to call ahead to reserve.
WiFi is available along with very comfortable chairs to sit in while you "surf" and enjoy, read the paper or just want to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee with a pastry or other refreshment.
The dining area is pretty good size and you have views of the Catalina's! The space is very open and has windows all around (except for the meeting room!) On top of that - there is lots of outdoor seating!
While you are there - purchase coffee or tea supplies!
They are open until 9:00pm every day!
Sertino's Cafe is a place where you could come in for breakfast, do a little reading, surf the net, have some lunch, enjoy some ice cream, take a stroll on the porch and have a get-together or meeting with friends -- it's like spending the day at home - but not!
