Is this the Basilica of Nuestra Señora de la Soledad (Our Lady of Solitude), the church of the patron saint of Oaxaca?

Folks, this is in a small town outside of Oaxaca. Ocotlan. This was restored with funds by the famous Mexican painter Rodolfo Morales -- Santa Domingo de Ocotlan church. It is gorgeous as is so much around Oaxaca.

I am sold on Oaxaca. The wife and I are thinking of going for a couple weeks every winter. It is so beautiful, charming and so affordable.

Beautiful picture Steve.  Amazing looking chapel.  Is your left leg a little shorter than your right too.

Jack,

I noticed that. Took the tissue out of my shoe and now I think it is pretty good.

Hey Steve,

Awesome picture. I believe I was in that area of Mexico back in the early 1980s. Lots of history.

Steven - That looks like a beautiful church. I bet the inside is just as beautiful as the outside.
