"Friendship improves happiness, and abates misery, by doubling our joy, and dividing our grief."
-Joseph Addison
Friday, I had a date to have lunch with two of my dearest, oldest, life time friends. When I got up, it was snowing! It snowed all morning, and the clouds were sitting heavy on the mountain tops.
I knew the fog would be rolling in, and soon the clouds would be sitting on the road, with poor visibility.
As much as a hated to cancel, I didn’t want to drive for an hour- to have lunch for an hour - and then drive home in soup.
I think my friends understood.
Still…. I would've loved to double my joy for the day – - - - - - -
and maybe they had some grief we could have divided up, too!
Instead, I stayed home, worked on my leads, and visited my friends, here on ActiveRain.
I have met many people here, that I consider friends.
Those who stop by to comment, who I don’t know very well yet …always extend their hand in friendship...and for that I am very grateful!
You have "doubled my joy" for life, and for this unbelievable, crazy, amazing, goofy Real Estate Business!
Thanks, Friends!
Sniff, Does anyone have a tissue? ! LOL :-)
