January is my time to reconnect with my clients in the new year, so this past week it was time to hit the road and visit some of my past clients.

I needed to pick between 30-40 clients to visit, map out the best way to fit them into my schedule, then call them and hope they're as excited to see me as I am to see them.  Luclily (for me) they seem to be or at least they pretend to be. *grins*

Here's how I do these visits.. I plan to visit for only a few minutes and I give them a small gift, ask how things are going and if there's anything I can do for them.

These visits (I do them 4 times a year) make such a big difference in my relationship with my clients, because that relationship doesn't end at the settlement table.  That is where the beginning of the connection that I hope to continue throughout the years develops.
