HABIT ONE: Knowledgeable

As a Mortgage Professional we must be knowledgeable about the mortgage process, answer the borrower's questions (honestly and without them asking: EXPLAIN THE NEXT STEPS.

thats funny, because i talk to underwriters all the time who don't understand what they are doing.

D. Bass, it is hard enough to be on top of all the changes for those of us who are well informed by our companies, and through training. I can imagine trying to be in this business without doing so, and not knowing what the heck you are talking about.
