Katy Real Estate News - Kelliwood Property Value Update

Kelliwood continues to deliver a great value for its residence.  This neighborhood offers a great location, beautiful homes and escalating home prices.  In 2007 the average home in Kelliwood sold in 48 days, for around $309,000 (around 79 per square foot.)  Also, 114 homes sold in 2007 throughout Kelliwood.

In 2008 the average home sold in 58.  So the pace at which homes sold fell slightly.  However, the average home sold for $335,000 or about $85 per square foot.  The number Kelliwood homes sold dropped to 94.  So, homes sales and says on the market were a little softer than in 200.7.  Still home prices were on the rise. 

The real estate market throughout the US was soft, however Katy home sales were strong.  Still Kelliwood outperformed most neighborhoods in Katy with an increase in value of almost 8.5%.
