Short Hills/Millburn Community - Making the Difference

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty Premier Properties

The township of Millburn/Short Hills has always attracted potential new home owners. The Blue Ribbon Award winning number one high school in the state, elegant homes and spacious properties are all some of the draws to investing in real estate in the township of Millburn/Short Hills, but what the township has that makes it truly unique are the community members themselves. Members of the Millburn/Short Hills community are known for taking care of each other and making efforts to better the world around them. Dr. Mark Zucker is one such community member.

Around town he is respected as a member of the Board of Education, but at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, his respect comes from a different job. On November 20, the Millburn/Short Hills resident was honored at a party at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, along with his heart transplant team, for completing their 500th heart transplant this past fall. Also in attendance were 81 of the team's patients, who wanted to express their gratitude. The Newark Beth Israel Medical Center transplant team is one of the busiest in the entire nation. Under Zucker's leadership, the medical center completes roughly 40 heart transplants every year.

Dr. Zucker's achievement is an honor to him and everyone in his community. It is no surprise that potential new home owners would want to invest in real estate in a community like that of Millburn/Short Hills, which supports those making a positive difference in the world.
