Scented Candles Make Great Gifts for Buyers And Sellers!

I buy all of my scented candles from Light-Expressions Candles and have done so for years.  Headquartered in Hawley, PA, Light Expressions is a locally owned and operated business.

The variety of scents, unique containers (my family likes the Snowman candle in particular), and length of burn time have made me a loyal customer ever since the company began.

The "Signature Candle" is shown at left.  Below, I included a picture of the "feathered wax" pillar candles - these are truly a  neat looking candle - complete with a custom inspirational message if you would like!

These candles have made wonderful gifts for many people in my SOI (and even my broker!).  Everyone has been de-lighted with their candle gifts.

I had an idea recently - why not make a gift of these candles to my sellers when they list their home for sale with me?  They could light the candle just before a showing to bathe the home in a pleasing aroma.  (Or they could just enjoy it without any real estate reasoning involved...).

I have also thought that a "candle basket" - a variety of candles done up pretty with a bow, would make a great closing gift for my buyers.   Noreen Morin, owner of Light Expressions Candles, has created some beautiful arrangements for me in the past, and she would be de-lighted to do so for others as well.

Candles also make a nice prop for home staging - people just love candles; I think of them as comfort food for the senses.

Check it out - perhaps you'll agree that these candles are a scent-sational gift idea for our valued clients!

I think these are a good idea.  We are giving out .02 for the post office increase.  Now they do not have to drove to the post office themselves.

I think this is a great idea also.  Another thing to thing about for gifts for clients is they have the tart warmers as well.  The warmers are about 20 bucks but the actual tarts are cheap and you can get them a variety of scents.

We have been using Candles for years, they are wonderful gifts.  Another awesome gift is a hammer, 2 screw drivers, and a pair of inexpensive pliers for the move in.

Like David I have been using candles as closing gifts and I have taken them a few times to listing appointments. I also like to use them during open houses.

Anything to combat prejudicial odors is a good thing! However, carefully make your selection. I can recall showing a home where someone had picked the most in your face, grandma perfume smelling candle I had ever smelled. It completely turned off my clients and they cut short their visit because the smell was too much for the wife. Subtle is better.

I agee candles are a great gift. I actually got the idea when someone asked me to buy a candle for a fundraiser. Now every time there is a fundraiser for the local Little league, school group, etc.,I buy up the candles and kill two birds with one stone.

I'm going to have to check out Light Expressions Candles.  I am a Candle Freak and have always been.   I love the look, feel, and of course the scent of a room basking in the light of these candles.  All in all, I'm pretty fly for a single guy.  Thanks Karen for the post!
