Barbacue In The Snow!

By

Yes it's true! Everyone needs to keep their sense of adventure no matter how bad the media wants you to think the economy is.

Today is January 28th, 2009 and we are right in the middle of the biggest snow storm of the year. We are expecting 15" plus of the fluffy stuff and I hope it keeps coming.

We could have chosen to stay inside and have soup and sandwiches but that really is just not as fun as burgers and dogs on the grill.

This is me right before I got things fired up. It really is rather comfortable out today, even thought it's 12 degrees there is no wind! That makes all the difference to me. Had it been windy I might have settled for the inside world.

The photo below is of the old Eastman ski hill. This is usually easily visable from our deck.

I keep my grill running year round.  I don't care what time of year it is, or the weather outside, nothing beats a good steak fresh from the grill!

We grill all year too.  When you live in New England you can't let a little snow stop ya!

Oh yea, and make sure to check the grill for critters before lighting up.  We have birds finding shelter in ours!
