Many people do not know of an awesome program going on in Nova Scotia that could save you thousands. I'll be brief about what it is however please visit sustainablehousing.ca for more information and to get all the details.

You request an energy evaluation for your home. I believe it costs $150. Then you have two years or so to make improvements - like new windows or anything that adds energy efficiency. After you have made the improvements they will come back out and re-evaluate your house. Depending are how your house scored you can get $2000.00 back!
