A not so Wordless Wednesday.......

I am glad this snow is over.  OK Jesse, I know that this is NOTHING like you would get way up north but, this 6 inches is just tooooooooo much for this old man.  I've got pains in places that I didn't even know I had places.

Ain't that glitter just BE-U-T-FUL?

Boy o Boy, I am so not ready to do this shoveling!!

Two hours later a clean driveway and......

Mounds and......

Mounds of Snow!!!

So, Jesse where do you want that Igloo built?

Mike,

I was thinking while I was moving that stuff off of the driveway of selling everything and moving way south.  Like I did way back in the day.

Don, it looks like the 3 bedrooms have the shortest DOM; same here in KC. Good idea, with the weekly stats.

Maria,

I have been trying to keep up with the stats on a weekly basis to let the folks in the area know what is happening.

Don, move to the country and buy a tractor....it is a lot less work here, with a 500 foot driveway!  lol

I'm jealous...pure and simple. I want more snow (we had a little taste last week). News tonight reported that we might get some. I'm holding my breath. ~GBU~

OMG, That just breaks my heart to see those deer burried in snow, though it must be in the Upper Penninsula...I have never seen that much snow here.

Jeremy,

I think that the sand that you have along your beaches and the warm air is far more inviting than this stuff.

Have a great day my friend.

Elizabeth,

I will say this, it is pretty to look at when it first falls, then you have to get out and move it just so you can get around.  YUCKO!!!!!!

I hope that you have a very BLEST day ma'am.  GBU

Good morning Shawn,

I understand that the U P gets so much snow that at times it is up to the roof.  That being the case how do you keep your home warm in the winter time?  That kind of snow fall is NUTS!!!!!

I am in the lower UP..just 2 hours to the Ohio border...we rarely get the snow like I've seen this year, and never as much as the Upper Penninsula.  To the roof!!?? lol, I think they may be exsagerating a bit!  However snow is great insulation....we build snow forts...and as I kid I use to play for hours on end in my snow forts.  also staying active...such as skiiing...sometimes I had to remove my coat because I was so warm from all of the extra layers.

Shawn,

All I know is what I was told while I was living in Wausau, WI.  It did sound odd to me too.

Don,

A little snow is ok.  Great shoveling job!   Just make sure you take your time so you don't cause any unnecessary pain yo any parts of your body.   Are you using a snow blower?   I hope so as I can imagine using a shovel for that amount of space will definitively give most people pains in places they did not know they had on their body.

We had over a foot here in December and I'm right there with you... Nope don't need it, don't want it. If I wanted it, I would have moved to Alaska or up to Mount Hood.

Sorry Jesse, If I come and see you, it will be in July!
