Welcome Back To Maine!

Maine is a very, very big state - often we get visitors to our site, MaineHomeConnection, who are not familiar with the overall geography of New England, let alone Maine.  As most realtors know, the single most used page on any real estate web site is probably the MLS Search.  We often get requests for property, especially Waterfront Real Estate that are hundreds of miles apart.  The Maine coast has over 3,000 miles of coast line, but from a practical standpoint, the majority of the population live in the southern section - Cumberland and York Counties, which includes the city of Portland, Maine. For some demographs on the state you might want to view - Maine From A Birds Eye View.

To get started understand Maine, we often suggest that clients visit our Relocation Services feature, which includes details and information about the local areas.  For example, there is a great overview of the different Maine Counties - where they are, what towns are included, what attractions they include.

Hope this information is helpful! If you ever need some addtional insight into our great state, please visit us on line or send us an email.  We also take phone calls, image that!
