Hey Folks!

Well a little crazy around central Indiana yesterday. We had the second largest one-day snow fall in history. Now this was great for the boys. Snow angels and today a Snow man.

While my day was spent shoveling and snow blowing when I was taking breaks I would have the TV on. Local news was on all day covering the storm. Now local news is local news. Some good and some bad. My question is this. Why do they always have to be outside? No matter the story. No matter the time of day. No matter the weather. Local reporters (and many National) report from outside.

For all that know a television reporter this short video may be for you. Feel free to share and enjoy:

Now when you need a mortgage it does not to be that hard. Amerisave and myself, Tony Grego, wants to be sure you are happy and everything is disclosed. Good Morning Tony!

I see we both spent the day outside blowing snow, that was fun, but exhausting!  I know I looked like a snowman most of the time., with backspreay if I went against the light wind.  They, the news and weather reporters claim it was the worst storm ever.  I don't agree, I think the storm we had in 2004 or 2005, when Mother Nature dropped 24 inches on us here in Columbus  the day before Christmas Eve, was far worse!

Very cute! Video, I guess the reporter and the photographer didn'y consider the procimity to the road, or hear the plow coming. See you in the Rain

We were clearing snow from our drives up in northern Indiana too...

Even here in Virginia we had snow on one day, and rain and sleet the next day. Made for a very slippery time.

I think reporters like to make us feel they are part of the news when they go out on location. It also gets them out of the office.

Hi Tony - What started out to be a good news cast about the dangers of tunneling in snow banks near the road ended up being a reminder to also pick a safe distance from the road to give your news cast lol

Thanks Martin!

I always love the first snow of the year when I can "play" with my snowblower. I just hope now I can pack it away for the rest of the season

Good luck up there. I know you folks are used to it this year. We have had it pretty easy so far

Thanks Michael.

I just think it is funny when say they are talking about something that happened in a office the day before and you see them at 6:00 in the morning reporting from outside. Who wants to see the building?

Hey Jon!

Do you think that the driver saw the camera and wanted to make a splash?

Thanks
