Epic Ski day At Loon 1/29/09..2 feet of fresh snow

The White Mountain got a Fresh Foot or two of snow on Wednesday

And this allowed Loon Mountain to enhance their already great conditions

First Time Open: Undercut & the Glades @ South Mt.

Don’t believe the press release on Loon’s First Double Back Diamond

Rip Saw <> <>.. Maybe on another day it’s too easy to be a 2XDiamond.

With Nearly Two Feet, and ungroomed..It was Snorkel time.

Second Run was Cottage Cheese, With Fluffy Tops, light smooth and fun!

It was A Double Black Diamond Today..trust Me.

Escape route no one had skied it when I took it at Noon!

This trail requires you to have a car in the South Mountain Bridge lot, because

There is no lift back from here. So Cool to ski to town and several condo complexes.

Today was no picnic for my old legs, but boy was it fun.

With this much snow I had to try some of the new trails.

These new trails are worth the trip, take Tote Road lift over from the main slopes or Park at the Pemi Base Camp, and ride the quad to the South Mt Summit.

Alan I love it when It snows, but I am like everyone I still have to get out of my own driveway before I can play (Thursday's off)..We have a ton of snow..Check out this morning shot.

Anne.. If you are going to Crested Butte, you should get some practice in you'll be toast from Elevation and muscle memory. The only way to get in shape for skiing is..skiing
