What is going on in the Real Estate market? Is it in trouble?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams of Waco
People are constantly asking about the real estate market.  The general public only hears is the negativity from the news.  The truth of the matter is that the market depends on a persons' location.   30 minutes of drive-time could change a market completely.  The Texas market is not what California is doing.  The New York market is different from the Florida market.  How can people take news and facts from any of these areas and tell us that this is what is going on in the rest of the country?

We can only share with them information about our own area - and be "mostly" correct!

Chris,

All real estate is local, Here in Southern California we have a different market and the neighborhoods are 5 miles apart. I think this is typical when it is hard to describe the market, neither a Byers or Sellers

Like Doug said, you need to pay attention to the micro markets when thinking about purchasing in the inventory soaked macro markets!

I wish the media would keep their mouth shut on something they have no idea about. I don't come into their job and tell them that the news outlets are going out of business and they will be out of a job in 6 months thanks to the internet. They shouldn't do the same to me and my profession.
