First, I apologize for being a day late, posting my Thankful county library - Mike SaundersThursday on a Friday. However, this week, I am grateful for the Oconee County Library. Now, I don't live in Oconee County, but, it is part of the Clarke County library system and is more convenient to my office.

But, what I am thankful for this week is that my wife got a job at the Oconee County library. She has been looking for a year and even with a masters degree she has had a hard time finding one. She has interviewed for many positions, mostly at UGA, but, there has been an average of over 100 applicants for every position.

She is very thrilled to be working there now, she really did want to get back on with the library. She worked there when we met but quit when she moved to Oregon to be with me. It is only part time, but, it is making her happy. Thank you library.
