For all of us who are trying very hard to be placed top among search engines, we must appear to be easy prey for the techie marketeers. I've recently got a call (message) from Google...Imagine That! Google called me, and here's what they said:
..."I am Brad of Google Global Marketing Exposure Div, on the behalf of Google SEO Team. They will be running an advertising campaign in my area (whatever that means) featuring local area real estate agents and offices on the first page of Google.com, and you (that's me) are selected to be one of the featured realtor on the first page. If you'd like to participate, call ###-###-####."
Yeah. I'd love to be one of the featured agents on the Google front page...who wouldn't. But somehow I think it'll cost me Mucho Dinaro...I sincerely doubt they'd place me first out of the goodness of their hearts. Call me a cynic, but when something sounds too good to be true, it is.
