Of course, no sensible blogger wants to keep their opinions hidden behind a password. :-)
But suppose you are a web designer building a WordPress site for a client. You don't want people stumbling across your work until your client is ready to unveil it.
Or suppose, like me, you use WordPress to build an online company Policy and Procedure manual. Having the P&P manual available to the entire online world was just fine when the only stuff it contained was basic legalise, "Do the Right Thing" admonitions.
But now that I have started adding pages that outline how we manage listings and sales, how we research property and present CMAs, it occurred to me that this kind of stuff is proprietary company information, and the site should be password protected.
Yes, I know you can password protect individual pages right in WordPress. But I wanted to password protect the entire site, but make it accessible with just one site-wide login.
So, Ive spent the last several days bumbling around with various password plugins and I finally found one that does exactly what I wanted:

I'm sharing the link to the plugin here in case other Active Rain members might find it useful. (Also so I can find it again if I need it). :-)
