Hi all - normally I post about real estate stuff but this is a case where realtors can be a big help as the know their areas and know lots of people.

I was at the Williamson County Animal Control a few days ago and met the "grand -dad" of Sadie, a lost 4 month old dachshund.  I asked him for a flyer and I've already sent it around to all of my own contacts but figured Active Rain might be a good way to get the word out as well.

I can't figure out how to attach the pdf flyer but I'll just include the info - and if you email me directly - I'll send you the flyer.

Sadie is a 4 month old dachshund who ran away during an attempted robbery while she was being walked at the Brandywine apartments.  This is near Edmonson Pike near the Nashville/Brentwood border.  She's adorable and probably frightened to death.  She was wearing a collar with her phone number, and a pink jacket, and here's the contact info:

Tiffany at 615-968-7728 and Josh at 615-668-4804

The "grand-dad" is Doug Montgomery at dougmontgo@comcast.net

They have checked with the Animal Controls and it has been in the news as well.  These people really want to find their dog!  If you have heard of anyone finding a dachshund - please let them know - and forward this along please.

Thanks much!

Hi Liz,   Go into powerpoint and under file scroll down to page setupand click portrait, make a flier with your lost pup's pictures and contact info. Then after you have finished your flier go back to file and scroll to "save as" then go to "save as type" and scroll down to "JPEG file interchange format" and save. Then you can go back to AR and post, when you do click the little tree in the task bar and you can put the flier right on the page...people do not have to open any files.  I do this for our rescue group some...and this is how I also do mass emails for new listings so agents will just see it instead of having to click a link. To get points for AR write the minimum above or below your flier.

I hope they find the pup soon!!!

Thanks so much for the info - I don't have powerpoint but I think I can take this into a jpeg another way.  I appreciate the info - I can get a regular picture in - just couldn't figure this out - I was trying to do it quickly.  I talked with the "grand-dad" today and they still haven't found her.  I feel so bad for them.  I'll try in the morning to do the jpeg.

Just an update -- Still no luck finding my adorable little Sadie -- I moved out of the area as there were several other robberies that occured and I just didn't feel safe.  I pass thru there sometimes and still look around hoping and praying I will see her.  I hope that somebody in the surrounding neighborhood found her and that she is safe and happy.  I miss her terribly but just wish I knew if she was atleast safe.  Thanks so much for all the help you guys.  If somebody found her I'm sure they fell in love with her. Just wish I had closure as we had BAD BAD weather the nights following her going missing.  Thanks again.
