According to RECON (Real Estate Center Online News provided by Texas A&M), webwire and House Predictors, five Texas markets are in the annual top 10 Hottest Real Estate Buyers Market forecast!

Here are the five Texas Real Estate Buyer Markets:

• McAllen -2nd place
• Austin -5th place
• Houston - 6th place
• El Paso -8th place
• Dallas -10th place

How is the list derived?  -Housing Predictor's lists are based on surveys of 75 out of more than 250 housing markets forecast on its website.  However, given the heaviest weight in the survey, is the highest amount of forecast appreciation during the remainder of 2007.  Market conditions, sales velocity, pricing and over 20 additional factors were also considered.
