Palm Bay, Florida - When it comes to work, Wanda Spradleg knows how to multi-task. According to close friends, Wanda has been known to "cook a pot roast, clip coupons, mix up perm solution, pull hair through a frosting cap, bake a batch of cookies, set up showing appointments, call agents for feedback and trim her husband's toenails all at the same time."

So when the Florida real estate market hit the skids, it was no surprise to Spradleg's associates at Tropical Breezes Realty that she would figure out a way to make the most of her weekend open houses.

Spradleg, licensed real estate agent, beautician and dog groomer has really felt the pinch of a stagnant economy in Brevard County. She hasn't been able to afford Bingo for over two years and can barely keep up with the payments on her micro fiber living room set and big screen TV.

Not one to give up easily, Spradleg decided to hold "Walk-Ins Welcome" open houses and offer attendees deep discounts on salon services such as perms, hair cuts and pedicures to increase her open house traffic and cash flow at the same time.

"Hey, I might as well do something other than sit there and watch my Sam's Choice vanilla sandwich cookies go stale, right?" "I'm already dragging open house signs and balloons around. Might as well drag a few hair dryers, too. Am I right?"

Sources at the local Board of REALTORS® were busy planning their annual Valentine's Day "We Love (heart) Brevard Brokers" tea and promised to "look into the matter" when asked about the liability issues associated with Ms. Spradleg's cosmetology services.

Ralph.. I have been attempting to get a hold of Wanda for some time now..I'm not sure if the Realty Company she works for (or) owns has changed their name slightly but my folks stayed at the Tropical Breezes Trailer Park and were denied their deposit back after a rental.. It seems it is against the rules to keep Gators in your bath tub (but no one could show me where it said that)..and now that they are back in New Hampshire those Gators are dead they froze in the pond..So I think Wanda should return mom's security deposit..Anyone reading this that knows how to get a hold of this Realtor, dog Groomer or what ever please let me know, 50 bucks is a lot of money right now.

Steve, I thought the gators where in the sewers up there.  What do you mean they froze?  Ralph, do something!

All right, all right....calm down everyone!  Steve......I'll call Wal-Mart and see if I can find Wanda (she works in the 'customer service' department every other weekend).  Your folks should definitely get a refund for their deposit.  There's nothing in the covenants that restricts gators in the tub. (They're only restricted from the shuffleboard court).  If she can't come up with their $50, do you think they'd accept a gift certificate for a pedicure? Or maybe a pot roast dinner at her house? They'll be coming back down, right?

Ralph, If you can get word to Wanda..we are willing to trade a cat grooming for the deposit. We have a one eyed cat that doesn't like men and lives under the trailer. Killer needs a good cleaning,,and we'll let it go at that. We haven't seen the cat all winter but know he's still under the house, because when he tussles with the skunk family down there we are all reminded of his presence. Thanks for the opportunity to settle this with out getting lawyers involved.

Steve - Found Wanda.  She said it's a deal.  And if Killer happens to be a little stiff when you find him.... go ahead and Fed Ex him down to Florida.  She said she can perk him right up and make him look like new again. (she also has a Florida taxidermy license)

Ralph..Sorry for my delay in response, killer has been found and is unfortunately frozen stiff, with the many other services Wanda offers please let me know if taxidermy is also available. I never really like that dam one eyed cat, but would rather have a reminder than be out the 50 bucks.

Steve - No problem.  I was tied up all week myself at a Mike Ferry seminar in Orlando.  Yes, Wanda says to go ahead and Fed Ex him down.  She ALSO has a Florida taxidermy license and says she can make him look like new again.  And best of all, when she's done with him, Killer will have both of his eyes back (glass).  Ralph
