There are many delicious dishes you can make with succulent oysters. I prefer them Barbecued on the half shell. At Oysterfest, in Mason County the Realtors, serve Oyster Rockefeller- pictured on the right. They are the best and the money raised goes to the scholarship fund.

There are endless ways to prepare Oysters and Mason county is certainly the place to find them. We pull them up by the rounded buckets. So if you want to have a great weekend go grab a few buckets of oysters on Hood Canal, have a BBQ and kick back...Mason County is awaiting.

Richard, now we are really hungry!   We think they are most flavorful raw-slurp 'em down and enjoy!  Are there particular days of month like clamming or can you get them anytime?

I am a big oyster fan. I think anything other than steaming it is a waste of its fantastic taste.

Angelia - There are many ways to prepare Oysters...One of the first ways to try them is grill fried with tabasco...very tasty.
