I recently put together a bunch of info about the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit and included the IRS form to submit along with your tax return.

I just got an email that I have copied below.... It speaks for itself.

THANK YOU!!!!!!
For days I have been attempting to find out how to claim the tax credit for the house I purchased in December.
Using the "freedom" turbo tax on-line service does not prompt one to answer a query regarding a recent home purchase.
Reading through the 1040 form does not either.

After being placed on hold twice with the IRS toll-free number, I finally learned the form number.  What I thought I was told and what I wrote down is "5504".
And of course there is no such form number at the IRS site!!!
Thank you so much for having the form listed at your site.  After several Google searches, I found you which lead me to the form on your site at http://www.dallasloanguy.com/FTHB_Tax_Credit_Info.pdf.

I am MOST appreciative.
I do not have a land-line phone ... so cell ph minutes are precious to me right now.
Nor do I have internet access at home (nor a printer) ... so library minutes are precious to me as well.

I just had to write/type and say thank you.
YAHOO!!!
Blessings,

XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX

I'm so glad the guy was able to find the information he needed.  However, I had to chuckle to myself thinking, thiis guy just bought a house and can't afford his cell phone bill, nor internet at home?  I hope his house isn't relisted in a few months under a foreclosure.

Tom, it is always such a great feeling when we know consumers are reading and they take the time to let us know. Nothing makes me happier.
