One part of my life I remember and cherish so much is a simple time spent with my father, as he said to me, "come on, follow me" as my dad took my hand and pulled our sled behind him as we walked to the park not far from our home.  I was about three then, and I will never forget the feeling I had as we came to the park and looked down the hill that seemed so steep.  We both were going to ride the sled to the bottom.  As my dad got on the sled first then he told me to jump on his back as he pushed off....wow, oh man was we moving down that hill.  I remember seeing the snow coming up beside us both as we were laughing and having the time of our lives.

I loved that time spent with my dad.  I will never forget it, and have told him so many times.

I know our Lord wants us to trust in Him in all we do.  It might not seem like it is a fun thing to do as He is telling us to follow him, but in the long run I know we are much better off if we just decide to take the ride of our life, and just trust.

What joyous memories you must have of your father. Touching memory right here.

Yes we will be better off to trust and ride with the Lord.

"For I know the plans I have for you" says the Lord."They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen"

Bob:  What a wonderful "movie" you have playing in your mind for many years.  Special moments like these should be cherished.  You were already blessed as a small child having a Father that cared so much for you.

If we are in the Lord's perfect time and His plan, we will never go wrong.  It will not always be the easy path but will be the most rewarding!
