Excellent customer service does exist! And you can find it in unexpected places. This one is way overdo. Mad props to Sean with WPReality for helping me with setting up my new WordPress blog DenverRealEstateSoup.com.

Last December I decided that it was time
to venture out and start a separate blog in WordPress. I was attempting/struggling to set up the new blog and kept putting it off. I wanted to use Godaddy to host the blog since we already had Godaddy account + had some free hosting available.

Need help with WordPress blog setup - WPReality
After hours and hours (felt like weeks) of wasted time
and extreme frustration I went on Twitter and asked if anybody knew how to set the new blog up or what the heck was I doing wrong?

Two people instantly replied
- one of them was Sean with WPReality - "Boosting WordPress for Realtors". He asked me a few questions and offered to help me through it. Now he does this for a living, but he offered his help for FREE! That was amazing and greatly appreciated.

After this, setting up the blog became a breeze - Sean quickly went through the set up - which had to be done manually (rather than the automatic one Godaddy has) - only to find out that the free version of Godaddy hosting adds their advertising to your blog. I didn't know that was going to happen, and I didn't want that to happen. So...

What were my other options? Sean gave me other options and I was so happy to find out I didn't have to try to figure it out myself! I ended up selecting a hosting through a different provider. The best part was that I did it through a link from WPReality Website (used a hosting partner) and Sean SET IT ALL UP FOR FREE! Now that was awesome!

Trouble with setting up Wordpress blog - WPreality can helpI signed up with Dreamhost through Sean's WPReality site and sat back. Literally within 2 hrs we were done. Or, I really should say he was done. We Skyped, he accessed my computer and I could see what he was doing - and could follow along for the most part LOL - it was the best!

And that is not all - what I was really impressed about was that he had thought ahead. What else will the agent need - and offer to provide it. All upfront. Here is what WPReality free setup includes.

Since then I have corresponded with him on a few occasions via Twitter and I know I will use him for other projects involving WordPress. He even does Twitter backgrounds.

I can not say enough about Sean's absolutely amazing customer service. This type of customer service is what everybody should be doing. It also made me realize how many companies have a long way to go to great customer service.
He has just received a customer for life. I know I will be using him a lot for future projects.

Thanks Sean - you were a lifesaver! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Brian/Rita,

I've been thinking about reinstating my GoDaddy WordPress blog just so I don't have all my eggs in one basket here on Active Rain. GoDaddy hosts my website and I don't recall that there were any ads when I did it about a year ago.

I've bookmarked this post just in case.

Do they also help with the .org WP blogs. I need some pluggins added and upgraded to 2.7?

Missy - If I'm not mistaked I have it with WP.ORG - I have the newest 2.7 version. And I will have Sean add some widget for me too.

Fernando - it sure helped me tremendously as it was taking me way too long to figure it out.

Richard - we have a lot of stuff through godaddy - but this just didn't work right. Now, smooth sailing.

Tony &Darcy - I feel the same way - I had been thinking about it for quite some time, but never seemed to have time to get it done! It was around Christmas time that I tried to do it myself - would have saved a lot of headache had I known about Sean before I tried to tackle it.

Michael - Do it, do it :) - I am still in the building the blogs up, slowely but surely.

Karen - You are welcome - I sometimes try to tackle things only to find out that it takes too long of my valuable time trying to figure things out myself...

Rita - What are your goals of WP blog? Are you re-writing the same topic, just worded differently? I have so many to keep track off, I'm not sure if I should start my WP blog - I have it. Just been sitting out there.

Loreena - I am concentrating on a more specific target with the WP blog. Some of the posts will be same/similar to the ones I post to AR, but others are not. I am concentrating on our target neighborhoods with local info and market reports, kind of like my own localism. I wanted to use WP because of it's versatile nature, and even though I am in the beginning steps with it - to where I want to take it I am getting used to it. Google is already indexing it, which is sweet. ~Rita

Brian and Rita:  Please be careful with the above post # 18.  It is one of those nasty spam comments.  Do NOT click on the link in the middle of the comment.  It may contain a virus or a trojan horse.  Simply delete it.

Hi Rita, This old post comes back to life. I want a Wordpress website and I tried to get to WPReality, but all the links are broken. Not a good sign for a website company! But anyways, do you have an email address for Sean? Thanks.
