Hi Liz—The areas of white are remnants of the ice storm/snow we had pass through here a few days ago. It was frigid, but I was dumb enough to go walking in the park at Lake Lewisville anyway! Thank you as I aways appreciate your comments.

Linda, with this winter scene of a Lake Park which is a stone's throw from where I live, the trees almost appear to be resting and waiting for spring to arrive. I had no fun with the driving with the ice but the park seemed to take it all in stride.

Gary—I for can hardly wait for spring to arrive, but we can't have spring without winter... so I'll just have to order an extra pair of thermals until it warms up. Driving on ice and I do not mix!

Charles—Hey friend in Charlottesville... Thank you for coming all the way to Texas to enjoy some of our exceptionally fine scenery - LOL! I must get to Charlottesville. I've heard it's a great place.

Hey, Linda. Since I have a B.S. in Forest Management from Texas A&M, I'm obviously quite enamored of trees. I really like tree silhouettes with beautiful lighting or coloring, and you've got one of the best I've seen.

Russell—Trees are one of my favorites in nature as well. One of my photography goals this year is to shoot trees at least once a week. I won't be posting every one of the, but come back any time to see what's new.

I'm not an Aggie, but two of the best veternarians I've used for my dogs have been Texas A&M alums. I'm not sure what the Vet School does to equip their graduates, but they stand at the front of the line for all animal care. Thanks.

Sean—I glad you like it. I was hoping the groundhog would predict anearly spring, but it looks like at least six more weeks of winter, so there is more time to take more cool pictures of trees. thank you.
