Hi everybody, I'm new to Activerain!!!

I was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Anyone out there, originally from Brooklyn? Have worked in South Florida for the past 30 years, in the hotel business. Starting a new career in the real estate business. Would like to eventually own a small motel or Bed and Breakfast, plus other income properties. I can still play a decent game of racquetball (except for a bad hip). I enjoy long walks, working out, reading business and real estate related books and magazines. Would like to get to know local, genuine real estate investors/Realtors that have bought and sold properties (not the "nothing down", "buy my book" type, so that I can help them find properties, and learn the investment business too. I know there are many "investment clubs" out there, but some of them, just want to sell you their books and seminars, and not really help you learn how to invest. Would like to manage properties for Banks too. If there are any Realtors out there, doing what I have just described, I would love to hear from you. That goes for Investors too. All comments, suggestions, opinions, and advice will be appreciated!!! Thank you!!!
