The landscape out there is a whole lot different for ours here in Connecticut.

George, I took this picture this morning. A beautiful day at approx 8000 ft above sea level. Is anything in Connecticut that high?

Dena, there is nothing in Connecticut that is even close to being that high.  The air must be pretty thin at that elevation :)

I remember this view -- I saw it with my mother nearly 14 years ago as we drove from Iowa to Flagstaff -- I was bringing her out to show her my new home (then under construction).

Those of us in Colorado love to brag about all the great stuff we have in own back yard, Pikes Peak is one of those things. I'm standing at roughly 8000 ft above sea level when I took this picture - not for everyone if you aren't use to it. Behind me are homes from the $500K to a million plus. I live not far from here, walking distance, in a more affordable area, but the view is almost the same.
