Oh Randy, Jeni is a very talented photographer....these pictures are speechless. Thank you so much for sharing them with us the colors are sooooo beautiful!!
Thanks a million, Teresa! I, too, am blown away by her photos. Glad you enjoyed them! I'll be posting more of her works in the future. :)
Randy, Your daughter definitely has a future as a photographer...Isn't it funny that we all know how to use a camera but some of us, like your daughter can take breathtakingly beautiful photos!
Hi Jane! Where the heck have you been?!?!? Hope you were having a terrific weekend. ;-)
Re photography, yes, it's amazing. I used to shoot with a 35mm, long before digital cameras came into vogue, and even tho I knew what I was doing technically, I just didn't have the eye that my daughter has. One of the funniest situations she's encountered was in her high school yearbook class. They had a contest a while back, and asked every person in the class to do nothing but take shots (not tequila:) for the next hour. Jeni had not taken her camera with her to school that day, so they gave her a "point-and-shoot" cheapie camera. Everybody laughed, saying that that was her 'handicap' for being such a good photographer. When they all returned an hour later, 'judges' that didn't know the kids were brought in to assess all of the pics. Wanna guess whose photos they judged tobe the best? LOL Even with a cheap, lousy camera, she just has the gift of an eye. Thanks for taking a look, and for allowing me to rant about my daughter. :))
Perhaps when next I visit the Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, I shall meet Jeni. It would be worthwhile. Excellent and beautiful photographs.
That would be cool, Russel! I'll be sure to pass along your compliments to Jeni. :)
Randy, I recognized the photos at once being from the Butterfly Exhibit at the Botanical Gardens. I shared some last year...it was spectacular. ;-)
Great job by your daughter. ;-)
Hey Teri ~ I wondered if you were ever gonna stumble across these pics! I started to send you a link to the post, after you posted those great photos you took recently at the Botanical Gardens, but decided to wait and let you be surprised. I totally LOVE butterflies; I even have a butterfly tattoo. Glad you recognized them!
Hello Randy...................I am in awl, with all the beautiful colors. I love butterfly's as I have numerous butterfly bushes in my yard. Also humming bird feeders.
Thank you, Julie! My daughter does incredible things with her camera. A gift to us all! :)

I am indeed one proud dad, Barbara! Thanks for dropping in and enjoying the photos with us!
Hi Randy - I see your daughter and I have the same appreciation of the beauty of butterflies! My daughter took a ton of shots when we went to the Pacific Science Museum, too.
