Anchorage is unique in many varied ways but we have just added another unique service to our list - singing valets.
 
Providence Medical Center may be the only place in the country that can boast of having singing valets.  The valets at Providence Medical Center are Siaki Tito, LeVant Logo and Sela Kakiva.. The group sings in three-part harmony. Sela is the leader singer and the one who started the valets singing. The valets serenade hospital outpatients when they enter and leave the medical center.
 
Of course, being able to sing is not a requirement for the valets.   This is just a public service they provide for those who take advantage of the free valet service offered by the Providence Medical Center .
 
I think the singing valets are a fine example of how easy it is to make a difference in the world and bring joy to other people's lives. They are also an example of what makes Anchorage and Alaska such a unique and great place to live.
