In the news recently, I heard about alot of our local politicians using OUR money to run commercials on TV. They seem to feel that is a better way of reaching their people. Only to the tune of around $6 Million last year. It apperas to me that it is more of a "needing to be seen to be re-elected thing" to me.
1st they get all this money for their vehicles, plus mileage. Most make 6 figures already and then they need help paying for their cars and mileage. Now WE need to run their ads on TV for them!
I do not drive a NEW vehicle because I would have to make the payments. My vehicles are PAID for! Do these people expect us to believe they know how most of the state's residents live, feel, etc... when they can't handle their own finances making 6 figures plus a ton of benefits? What if they had to live on $30,000 a year and make their own car payments? Would they make it? I doubt it!
