Multiple Offer In todays Market. Oh My God !

By
Real Estate Agent with RealEstateSINY.com

I'd like to share with you my recent experience buying and selling homes for buyers and sellers. First let me start by saying that I find it to be very busy do you?  Buyers are out there buying homes which is GREAT lets get our economy moving. Every time there are multiple offers. I was involved in three myself just within a week there where two bids on each one. But let me talk about today. Nothing special just a 2 bedroom townhouse in a very good condition though. Anyhow my buyer making an offer and I proceed to present the offer to the homeowners at which time the listing agent is telling me that there are two additional offer and one of them is cash. We negotiate back and forth luckily for me the sellers accepted my offer. The message is lets get the word out in our community real estate is happening so lets get busy. Good luck to all. Happy buying & selling to all.

Multiple offers are running rampant here in Orlando and in the first time home buyers under $200,000 it's becoming pretty commanplace.

I agree.  I had a client accept an offer today only to have two better offer come in shortly after.  I also have a property listed that received 8 offers.  Don't be fooled by the news there are buyers out there.

Irena,

That's the kind of music we like to hear. Here in Vegas we are also seeing the activity picking up a bit with buyers snapping up low-priced bank REOs.

Here as well, lately almost all of our offers have been in a multiple offer situation. There's been 5, 7 or more offers in. That's wild. Some buyers are shocked. ~Rita
